Onward to Soak Up Some Culture from San Diego...

If you stay outside of San Diego proper, just drive to the closest "Trolly" station and jump on the trolley/train.  You can jump off when ever you wish and back on to the next point of interest.
We started in town and immediately enjoyed the 'un-cramped' way they had developed their city, unlike Melbourne's jamb!

There was a big band playing on a day after we were leaving, we could have Balboa'ed at The Balboa!

 The tourist trap street.
About to join the Trolley and head off to "Old Town"
Horton was the man who guided and inspired the San Diego character.

 A little perspective!

LOOK OUT GRANDMA, don't pat it, it is about to bite your hand!
Here you go Jethro, Ita, Lyla and of course Inez!...

Cactus/succulent garden heaven, where ever you looked many of the plants were very old.

Yet another "Gunna job" on my extending list.

Is that Ray in the back ground with the parasol? Nah he would use one!

HE DOES USE A PARASOL, the side of the Ray "Von" you don't normally see, spotted sitting out the front of the toilets. :)

That may be one of Mr Heisenberg's business associates :)

Had a lovely cup of Masala Chai here, infact they had hundreds of teas to choice from.

There were very good "El Dia de los Muertos"

Some interesting car sightings.

 I did say "Interesting"!

Off to Pomona Swap Meet...

Well Ray nor I had been to Pomona Swap meet, we didn't need anything, it was just one of "those things" that you hear from others for so long, you must do it!

Bought a water temperature gauge!
The girls went to the Long Beach Flea Market on the same morning, may have some pics of their finds.

Some pics to give you an idea of the size of the Pamona Swap.
 The VW section.

This wasn't the only one this size!

For the Mercury Car Club.

I grabbed the for sale number of the ones to ring when I win Tattslotto!
